D2D communication enables the networks to have high data rates, low power consumption and low latency. D2D communication is allowing direct communication between the transmitter and receiver without relaying the data through BS. Four modes of operation are available in D2D communication (i.e Reuse, Dedicated, Cellular and Silent mode).
