The bond strength of resin composite to superficial and deep dentin when using self-etch adhesive containing silver is an age dependent mechanical property. Recommendations: 1.Further investigations are required for assessing the homogeneity, stability and chemical reactions of adhesive systems containing silver nanoparticles in short and long-term. 2.Further investigations are required to evaluate the antibacterial activity of adhesive system containing silver nanoparticles against dental plaque biofilm rather than single bacterial species. 3.Further investigations are required to assess the response of dentin pulp complex when using self-etch adhesives containing silver nanoparticles. 4.More in-vitro studies are needed regarding the addition of silver nanoparticles to resin composite restorations to investigate their bond strength and degree of conversion
