N2  - Objective: The aim of our study is to diagnose the congenital heart diseases early, so decrease morbidity and mortality that result from delayed  diagnosis Methods:  This study was conducted over a 6 months interval from January  2017 to June  2017 in the governmental hospitals in new valley ; it included 1582  live births who born during this period. 24 cases were diagnosed as CHD and were born this period. Diagnosis of the patients was based on careful history taking, detailed clinical examinations and specific investigations
