Thirty children were 4-6 years old from both sexes (5 females; 25 males) with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. They were randomly assigned into study and control groups of equal number. All children received physical therapy treatment program for one hour, 3 times/week, three successive months. The study group received 30 minutes of gait training using the modified foot placement ladder while the control group received the same duration in traditional gait training. Gait parameters were evaluated by Tekscan{u2019}s walkway pressure assessment System before and after treatment. The results of this study revealed statistically significant differences in spatial and temporal gait parameters (velocity, cadence, step length, stride length, step width and foot angle) of study and control groups in favor of the study group. From the obtained results of this study, it could be concluded that, gait training with the modified foot placement ladder may improve the spatiotemporal gait parameters in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
