For this purpose, a total of 48 isolates were collected from Elkasr Elainy hospital and identified as Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebseilla pneumoniae, antibiotic susceptibility was carried out, ampicillin and cefalexin were selected for conjugation with silver nanoparticles as the majority of isolates showed resistance against them, and silver nano particles were prepared by the chemical reduction method. Then, silver nanoparticles were functionalized with ampicillin and cefalexin, Transmission Electron Microscopy, UV spectroscopy, zetasizer and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy were used for characterization before and after conjugation with antibiotics, thier antibacterial activity alone, and after combination with antibiotics were determined. The data showed that antibiotic{u2013} silver nano conjugateincreased the bactericidal efficacy of antibiotics to 30 {u2013}to 100 fold higher than the antibiotics alone, In addition, invivo study showed efficient results of antibiotic-silver nano conjugated formula for wound healing, compared to dermazin cream UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
