The study resultes indicated that the most important determimants for the Egyptian pound exchange rate against the US dollar during the period (2000-2016) is the total value of Egyptian imports, the total value of Egyptian working abroad remittances and inflation tates. The results also showed that there is a clear imact of the Egyptian pound exchange rates on Egyptian agricultural exports. It is indicated that the increase of the exchange rate leads to a decline in export commodities prices. Consequently, it increases their competitivences in foreign markets and encourages export increases. Regarding imports, the results showed a direct relationship between the exchange rate and the value of agricultural imports. However, this result is inconsistene with the economic logic. The logic is that the increase in the exchange rate leads to a rise in the prices of foreign commodities imports. Thus, the demand should be redoced leadung to a decline in the calue of imports. Reviewing the structurs of Egyptian imports, it is noted that most of them are foodstuff commodities such as wheat, edible oils as well as intermediate and investment goods. These commodities are characterized by weak domestic demand elasticity. This is because they lack local alternatives. The study indicates that the Egyptian economy features during the years 2011 up to 2016 reflect a negative impact on the exchange rate of the Egyptian pound on one hand and the overall Egyptian agricultural trade on the other hand
