Ionospheric response has been a subject of recent interest. This research carried out from observationandanalysisof TEC (TotalElectron content) usingI GS network for four stations located in french guianaat south America, Ethiopiaat Africa and two stationsin Asia (Thailand and India). The thesis investigates the geomagnetic storms during solar cycle 24 minimum and their impacton the Earthsionosphere.Through this study, correlatione quations for the response time is deduced for three contentat the magnetice quator by studying the time of ionospheric influence using the selected regions. The correlation results were the highest in South America (0.79) followed by Asia (0.61)then the lowestis Africa (0.48). The number of the magnetic storms contributed are 42 atthe magnetic equator level in the three content. The equations derived describe the relation of disturbance storm time index (DST) to the ionospheric response time, can be used to create ionospheric models for a better understanding to the TEC on the ionosphere during the geomagnetic storms and the irresponse time
