Drought indices were used to survey drought and demonstrate its performance, The SPI enables to identify and monitor drought in different time scales which considered the main advantage compared to other indices. By analyzing precipitation and temperature in this study from1950 to 2017 in Ethiopia by using SPI (Standard Precipitation Index) and SDI (Streamflow Drought Index)., From mean minimum temperatures of 15 stations in Ethiopia, 1962 was the lowest year (6.2 {u00B0}C) at Debremarkos station, 1980 was the highest year (20.3 {u00B0}C) at Metehara station during the period 1950-2017 in Ethiopia. By applied monthly mean data, trend analyses are used to investigate dryness and wetness over Ethiopia. After doing analysis by many different methods we found that the extremely dry conditions concentrated at the year 2012 in Bahar Dar, and the extremely wet conditions in the year 1990 in Makale ER -
