The structures most commonly affected by endometriosis include ovaries, uterosacral ligaments, pelvic peritoneum, rectovaginal septum, and lower genital tract. Other sites that can be involved include small and large bowel, appendix, hernial sacs, umbilicus, perineum, bladder, ureter, sciatic nerve, pleura, lungs, episiotomy scar, caesarean scar, femoral lymphatic chain, and skin. Aim of the Work: To determine the prevalence of endometriosis in women undergoing laparoscopy for evaluation of infertility. Methods: This was a prospective observational research study that has been conducted at Obstetrics and Gynecology hospitals, Cairo university, Egypt.
