<br/><br/> The current study aims to explore the effect of two commonly used herbal plants from different families ; Melissa officinalis linnacus (lemon balm) and zingiber officinale roscoe (ginger) , on the total content of GABA , free Pi and some ions (Na+ , Ca2+ , Mg2+ and CI) in different brain areas (cerebellum , pons+medulla , striatum , cortex , hypothalamus , mid - brain and hippocampus) of the adult male albino rats
