<br/><br/> This is case-control  study was carried out at AbouElreesh University Children Hospital,Cairo University . Eighty-One child  screened for cardiomyopathy using 3D echocardiography and serum biomarkers .Children was divided into  55 child with type 1 DM and  26 normal child .After ECHO has done , serum biomarkers was measured  and the results was  compared to evaluate risk of cardiomyopathy in diabetic compared to healthy group
