A questionnaire survey has been conducted in a certified manufacturing firm according to ISO 9001 seeks to improve its QMS by implementing Lean thinking.the population of this study comprises of company staff, approximately 125 persons and the total number of respondents was 115 persons. From the study,adopt QMS according to ISO 9001,due to market related reasons came first from the certification, and there are many factors affecting the QMS performance.Also,Lean can fit any quality management system. Similarities between Lean principles and the core principles of ISO 9001 provide great opportunity for integration between both forces to be one complementary improvement force.The results showed that there is strong relation between Lean thinking integration on QMS and improving the effectiveness of QMS implementation.As well as there is significant relationship was observed between the QMS effectiveness measures (Internal audit results,engagement of people,communication, and continual improvement) and Lean thinking implementation. The findings of this study provide any organization aims to improve its quality management system effectiveness with practical evidence that Lean thinking integration on any quality management system can lead to effective and sustained implementation of this system ER -
