<br/><br/> The purpose of this study is to determine the role of multislice CT in assessment of cases of double outlet right ventricle. Fifty patients were subjected to ECG gated multislice CT study, Fourty five of them were subjected to prospective ECG gated multslice CT and five patients were subjected to retrospective ECG gated multislice CT for further functional assessment. Our study suggested that multidetector CT has satisfactory diagnostic accuracy in assessment of DORV and associated malformations and can provide excellent diagnostic image quality without the disadvantage of increasing the radiation dose
