The prepared material was characterized using Raman spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and ultrasonic characterization. The prepared graphene sheets were of high quality few layers and the average size of silver nanoparticles was 8.6 nm to 15.6 nm. Graphene was found to act as a substrate that enhances the antibacterial activity of silver nanoparticles by increasing their dispersibility and preventing their agglomeration.
