Our conclusion is selected patients with small size lesion, intact lateral pillar (stage A) and lesions away from weight bearing area of the femoral head a long term follow ups and observation can be considered. While in patients with multifocal, large osteonecrosis, related to articular surface and affecting weight bearing area of femoral head with affected lateral pillar (grade B or C) closed observation and surgical management is considered UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
