Purpose: To find out which form of e-learning synchronous or Asynchronous is more effective to train practical skills for pediatric physical therapy students. Subjects: seventy five physical therapy students (57 female and 18 male) randomly selected from seven universities in Egypt, 31 students in the 5th grade and 44 in internship), randomly allocated between two groups (37 group A and 38 in group B). Methods: Students satisfaction, knowledge and skills were assessed by online post study survey, Kirkpatrick's evaluation model and online quiz after practical training through (Zoom meeting for group A and recorded video for group B). Results: there was no significant difference in students overall satisfaction between synchronous and asynchronous group (p = 0.64), there was no significant difference between groups in use of skills and students confidence in ability to perform after training (p>0.05), There was a significant increase in the quiz total score of group B compared with that of group A (p = 0.003)
