The recent studies hinted to the importance of becoming acquainted with the newest generation joining the workforce, giving more attention to the antecedents and outcomes of perceived employability and refocusing on the different forms of organizational commitment that lead to competitive advantage, yet in the literature, there is still a scarcity of studies serving that purposes. Accordingly, by relying on the GenerationalCohort Theory (GCT), this research aims to study Generation Zs personality traits using the Five-Factor Model (FFM) in order to predict their organizational commitment and that by empirically examining the relationship between those two variables as well as investigating the mediating role of perceived employability. The data was collected based on a conclusive descriptive single cross-sectional analysis from a quota sample of 383 Generation Z undergraduate students from two types of faculties (practical and theoretical) and enrolled in four different faculties (commerce, law, engineering, medicine) at Cairo University. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the hypothesized direct and indirect relationships (H1 to H4) while Independent t-test was used to test the last developed hypothesis (H5). Findings showed that all direct effects were positively significant while the mediation effect was partially indicated since both direct and indirect relationships were proven to be significant as well
