It is a common cause of menstrual irregularities and infertility during reproductive age. Aerobic exercise is often recommended for obese women with PCOS to improve their metabolic and hormonal parameters. Purpose: This study was conducted to study the effect of aerobic exercises on Immunity in obese polycystic ovarian women (PCOS).Subjects & procedures: Forty volunteer obese women were diagnosed as having PCOS, their age ranged between 20 to 35 years old were participated in this study from the outpatient Clinic of Abassya Chest Hospital. They were appointed randomly into 2 groups (A&B) equal in numbers: Group A (control group): 20 women received diet program onl for 3 months. Group B (study group) : 20 women participated in an aerobic exercise program (Weight bearing exercise on treadmill) 3 times per week for 3 months plus diet program prescribed for group (A).Evaluations of both groups (A&B) were performed before and after 3 months of treatment through measurement of weight, body mass index (BMI), Immunoglobulin M (IgM), luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), LH/FSH ratio, C-reactive protein (CRP) and Modified Ferryman{u2013}Gallwey (mFG) scoring system used to assess hirsuitism. Results: There were a statistically significant decrease (P<0.01) in weight, BMI in both groups (A&B), Also there were a statistically significant lower (P<0.01) in FSH, LH, LH/FSH ratio, CRP and mFG in favour to the study group (B) which participated in aerobic exercise plus diet showed than in group (A), whereas IgM showed statistically non-significant variation between both groups (A&B) after 3 month of the study UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
