Aim: To evaluate the gingival crevicular fluid alkaline phosphatase (GCF ALP) activity in Egyptian children and adolescents females in relation to the pubertal growth spurt as detected by the middle phalanax of the middle finger (MP3) staging method. Methodology: 90 Egyptian female patients aged 7-16 years old were recruited and instructed to follow a strict periodontal protocol. GCF ALP samples were collected from maxillary and mandibular sites and analyzed. Levels of GCF ALP were compared to their MP3 stages. Results: Levels of ALP showed high concentrations during pubertal stages in comparison to the pre-pubertal and post-pubertal stages. Conclusion: GCF ALP could be a reliable non-invasive skeletal growth indicator in a sample of Egyptian females
