All patients had a full strabismus examinations, were imaged by the AS-OCT, measurements were compared with intraoperative measurements. Results: imaging of MR muscles showed no significant difference as compared with the intraoperative measurements P value (0.593) in MR ofRT eye, P Value (0.110) in MR of LT eye however imaging of LR muscle showed significant difference as compared with the intraoperative measurements (p-value 0.001) in LR of RT eye, P-Value <0.001) Age, gender, axial length showed no significance. Conclusion: In this comparative study, the AS-OCT is a non-contact, easily used; highly accurate investigative tool in imaging MR. However its accuracy may be limited by the machine beam's length used on imaging a muscle like LR inserted mostly very close to the machine beam's length, AS-OCT is also not effective investigative tool for patient with poor fixation and incooperative ones ER -
