The present study aimed forthe investigation of the morphological features of coronary arteries in donkey, comparative metric analysisbetween vernier caliper measurements and computed tomographic measurements of coronary donkey coronary arteries. The study was carried on the hearts of adult donkeys of both sexes. The first group of specimens were injected with red gum milk latex/barium suspension through the right and left coronary arteries for the morphological examination, the second group of specimenswere injected with warm epoxy/barium suspensionfor CT scanand manual caliper measurement by vernier caliper. The CT scan was done by 16-channel multislice CT scanner (GE-Revolution,Milwaukee, USA).The injected hearts were preserved in 10% acidified formalin solution before dissection and computed tomography angiography. The results revealed that the coronary artery possess bilateral coronary pattern. The right coronary opening is greater in caliber than the left one. No anastomosis has been observed between both left and right circumflex branches. A high incidence of right coronary dominance was observed.Rare cases of arterial trifurcation of the left coronary artery were found along with the presence of a left diagonal branch. Thesinoatrial node branch arose from the left circumflex branch in 100% of the examined cases The myocardial bridge as a congenital heart defect was recorded in five specimens, its dimensionswere determined 30-40 mm length,10-20 mm width and 0.3-0.4 mm depthstrangling thecoronary vessel, reducing blood flow to the heart. The calculated error rate of the caliper measurement between Vernier caliper and CT angiography did not exceed 0.02 %
