Groundwater recharge estimation is necessary for decision-makers for planning sustainable development for a renewable groundwater aquifer. Groundwater recharge estimation is a complex task; as it is affected by several factors (climatic, anthropogenic) under the lack of data availability in the study area. Also, the prediction of the temporal and spatial variability of the recharge under climate change projection is another challenging task. In this study, the current groundwater recharge has been estimated in the El-Qaa Plain area, South Sinai, Egypt and the potential impacts of climate change projection on the recharge have been predicted. The results show that the current mean annual groundwater recharge ranges from around 15.75 Mm3 to 20.85 Mm3. Also, the future mean annual recharge might increase from the year 2011 to the year 2040 ranging between around 4% and 23%. Then, the recharge might decrease from the year 2040 to the year 2100 within a range of around 3% to 35%
