Methodology: 16 Implants were placed in 7 patients divided into two groups, each group had 8 implants of the laser treated type the other group was 8 implants of the SLA treated implant. The stability of these implants was measured using RFA measuring device immediately at time of insertion and after 2,4,6,8 and 12 weeks. Conclusion: laser treated surface implants have shown a higher stability during healing phase when compared to the SLA treated surface implants, but at 12 weeks, both groups reach the same stability with no statistical difference. The SLA exhibit a stability dip in early healing period weeks 2 to 4 more than the dip seen in laser treated implants UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
