<br/><br/> This study concluded that surgical excision whenever possible is the best treatment for abdominal lymphangioma , more extensive resection may be needed to ensure non recurrence , also highlighted the importance of ultra - sonography as a sensitive investigation to diagnose intra abdominal lymphangioma , which is a rapid , cheap , and reliable method to use in children with vague abdominal symptoms , CT whenever possible helped to complete the whole picture of preoperative diagnosis
