It is the second most common cause of death after trauma in children older than 1 year of age . The first reported use of modern MIS techniques for cancer diagnosis in children came in 1994 . The MIS techniques are used for diagnosis , staging of suspected intra abdominal malignancies , assessment of resction and evaluation of recurrent metastatic disease
