There is an apparent increase in the number of HCC patients attending the various oncology centers in Egypt. Liver transplantation is the best treatment with a major chance of cure for HCC. Transplantation led to the longest survival, followed by resection. Liver transplantation offers excellent results for selected candidates with hepatocellular carcinoma
