Antenatal care provides opportunity to inform and educate women on the importance of nutrition to their health and how this affects their children health as well. Improvement of maternal health and outcome of pregnancy through proper nutritional care. Assessment of nutritional services provided for pregnant women during ante-natal care, determination of the prevalent nutritional health problems among the study group and recommendation of measures for improving the nutritional services provided for the study group. The current study is a descriptive, cross sectional study, conducted in centre for social and preventive Medicine, exit - interview questionnaire with 250 attendant pregnant women and observation checklists were the main tools used for performance assessment of the health care providers. Assessment of knowledge of the health care providers, client satisfaction and assessment of the capacity of the studied health facilities were also performed
