Heavy metals produced and released during agricultural and industrial activities cause the pollution in the environment . Sediments play an important role as natural adsorbants to immobilize heavy metals contaminates . This study investigates the effectiveness of some Egyptian sediment such as (phosphate rock iron oxide and shale) for remediation of some heavy metals Cd, Zn, Fe, Pb, and Cr from wastewater sample collected from iron and steel factory
