Different methods for the determination of some fluoroquinolones, in pure form, in binary mixtures, in the presence of their degradation products and in pharmaceutical preparations, have been developed in this thesis. These drugs are ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, moxifloxacin hydrochloride and ofloxacin. Chromatographic part included the determination of (ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride and dexamethasone sodium phosphate), (ofloxacin and dexamethasone sodium phosphate), (moxifloxacin hydrochloride and dexamethasone sodium phosphate) and (ofloxacin and cefixime trihydrate) in pure form, in binary mixtures and in the presence of their acid degradation products, using high performance liquid chromatography. Spectrophotometric part included the determination of (moxifloxacin hydrochloride and ketorolac tromethamine) in binary mixture, using derivative spectrophotometry, in addition to a spectrophotometric method for the determination of (ciprofloxacin hydrochloride) in the presence of (dexamethasone sodium phosphate) and a derivative ratio spectrophotometric method for the determination of (ciprofloxacin hydrochloride and dexamethasone sodium phosphate) in binary mixture. Moreover, a derivative of ratio spectrophotometric method for the determination of (ofloxacin and dexamethasone sodium phosphate) in binary mixture and in the presence of ofloxacin acid degradation product. also, spectrophotometric part includes two spectrofluorimetric methods for the determination of (ciprofloxacin hydrochloride) and (moxifloxacin hydrochloride) in the presence of (dexamethasone sodium phosphate). Statistical comparison between the results obtained by the proposed methods and the official or reported methods was carried out
