To understand the principles and to practice refractive surgery for regular astigmatism, it is important to understand the definition of the regular astigmatism. In tigmatism, the refractive power of the eye is different in different meridians. The cornea cannot bring the light rays to the precise point on the retina to provide a clear vision; thus, object will appear blurry at any distance
