Sinapic acid a widely spread hydroxycinnamic phenolic acid in plant kingdom, it is considered to be the major phenolic acid in Botrytis italica, L. (broccoli). Sinapic acid has been proposed to be potent antioxidant that has various pharmacological effects including antimicrobial, anticancer, anti-glycemic and anti-inflammatory effect
