Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Anaesthesia
Clinical audit and research are closely related but distinct disciplines. Research is about creating new knowledge about whether treatments work or whether one treatment works better than another. Clinical audit is about making sure that this knowledge is being used to best effect. We are focusing on the audit activity in the perioperative (pre-operative, intraoperative and postoperative) period of anesthesia to improve the quality of the anesthetic practice, patient care and outcomes
