Hypertension is considered as, one of the most chronic diseases affecting a wide range of population, and general health, and although it is asymptomatic in most cases; it has serious complications affecting various parts of the body. With the increased rate of therapeutic researches for hypertension, the need for alternative ways remains strong. Researchers had conducted a lot of studies to detect the effects of diet remodeling on hypertension, and its effects on blood pressure by simply changing dietary habits. In this study; the (dietary approaches to stop hypertension) diet (DASH), (a diet containing more fiber and minerals, as in vegetables and fruits, more healthy unsaturated fats as in olive oil, more lean protein, and more skimmed dairy products, and on the other hand a diet contains low amounts of sugars, saturated fats, fatty dark protein and full fat dairy), was tested for six months on a group of pre-hypertensive subjects, and proved to have a positive impact on lowering both systolic and diastolic blood pressure, also a decrease of body weight and body mass index were noticed for all subjects by the end of the study
