A field experiment was conducted at sids reseaerch station Agriculture research center during 2005 and 2006 summer seasons to study the effect of macro environmental factors (climatic and soil) and two planting dates on productivity of six maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes. Multiple linear regression analysis stepwise regression analysis path coefficient analysis factor analysis and traits mean performance combined across seasons were used
