Punching shear failure is considered one of the main aspects of flat slab system design. Nowadays, alteration of buildings usage over its life time demanded modern strengthening techniques against the prementioned punching failure. One of the modern techniques is using CFRP fan method technique against punching failure to increase punching shear capacity. On the other hand, Fire resistance of concrete structures became of great significance, but further research is needed to determine the actual performance of various strengthening techniques, therefore, the efficiency of the proposed technique under fire is studied. The experimental program consists of nine specimens. The parameters of the study were the temperature of fire, type of cooling, arrangement and location of CFRP fans. Two specimens were not heated while the remaining seven specimens where heated. The results showed a promising performance for the proposed technique under fire conditions
