Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Pharmacy - Department of Pharmacognosy Summary: The present study deals with the assessment of selected Egyptian herbal products from the Egyptian market used for the treatment of different men health problems like benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPS), general male tonics for erectile dysfunction and male infertility (delayed conception), and analyzing their constituents quantitatively using different chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques. In this study, the newly designed nutraceutical formulation (NCF) was prepared as a protective and therapeutic supplement for cisplatin (CP) induced testicular toxicity, standardization of its ingredients,and quality control and method validation of the NCF, physical evaluation of the NCF, and the biological activity was evaluated
