تتحدد مشكلة البحث في ما فاعلية برنامج ارشادي المستخدم في البحث الحالي لتنمية الذكاء الوجداني لأمهات الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون؟ ما فاعلية برنامج ارشادي المعد للامهات في البحث الحالي لتحسين مهارات التواصل لأطفالهن من ذوي متلازمة داون؟, وقد تم استخدم المنهج شبه التجريبي، واستخدمت طريقة المجموعة الواحدة للقياس القبلي والبعدي للتحقق من أثر البرنامج المستخدم باعتباره المتغير المستقل. تكونت العينة البحث (10) أطفال من ذوي متلازمة داون وتتراوح نسبة ذكاءهم من (50-70) من أعمار عقلية (7) سنوات, وأعمار زمنية من (9-12) سنة, و(10) من أمهات الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون تتراوح اعمارهم (26-45), اشتملت أدوات البحث استطلاع رأي امهات أطفال متلازمة داون عن أهم المشكلات التي تواجهها بعلاقتها بطفلها؟ إعداد الباحثة, مقياس الذكاء ”ستانفورد بينيه الصورة الرابعة, مقياس الذكاء الوجداني (إعداد الباحثة), مقياس مهارات التواصل لطفل الروضة (اعداد سهير كامل, بطرس حافظ 2015), برنامج البحث - إعداد الباحثة, وأسفرت النتائج عن فاعلية البرنامج الإرشادي لأمهات الأطفال ذوي متلازمة داون لتحسين مهارات التواصل لأطفالهن.

The research problem is determined by the effectiveness of a counseling program used in the current research to develop the emotional intelligence of mothers of children with Down syndrome. What is the effectiveness of a counseling program prepared for mothers in the current research to improve the communication skills of their children with Down syndrome? The quasi-experimental approach was used, and the one-group method of pre and post measurement was used to verify the impact of the program used as the independent variable. The research sample consisted of (10) children with Down syndrome, and their intelligence ranged from (50-70), mental ages ranged around (7) years, and chronological ages ranged from (9-12) years, and (10) mothers of children with Down syndrome, with ages ranged from (25-45). The research tools included a survey of the opinion of mothers of children with Down syndrome about the most important problems they face in their relationship with their child?, (prepared by the researcher), the intelligence scale “Stanford Binet, the fourth picture, the emotional intelligence scale (prepared by the researcher), the scale of communication skills for the kindergarten child (prepared by Suhair Kamel, Boutros Hafez 2015), and the research program (prepared by the researcher). The findings resulted in the effectiveness of a program for developing emotional intelligence for mothers of children with Down’s syndrome to improve the communication skills of their children.
