سعت هذه الدارسة إلى فهم طبيعة التغطية الإخبارية للأزمة الخليجية بين قطر ومجموعة الدولالعربية الأخرى، كما عرضت لها القنوات الفضائية الكويتية، والمواقع الالكترونية محل الدارسةوما الدور الذي تؤدية الأخبار والبرامج بالقنوات والمواقع الإلكترونية محل الدارسة في تشكيلاتجاهات الجمهور الكويتي نحو الأزمة الخليجية، فضلا عن التأثير في تبني أفراد الجمهور الكويتيللأطر المقدمة عن الأزمة بها وتداعياتها المختلفة، من خلال دارسة مسحية لواقع التغطية الإعلامية لهذه الأزمة، وعلاقتها بتشكيل اتجاهات الجمهور نحوها. تعد هذه الدارسة من البحوث الوصفية التي تستهدف تصوير خصائص مجموعة معينة وتحليلهاوتقييمها، ووظفت منهج المسح بالعينة والمنهج المقارن، وتمثل مجتمع الدارسة التحليلية في كلمن البرامج الإخبارية في القنوات الفضائية والمواقع الالكترونية للصحف الكويتية، كما تمثل مجتمعالدارسة في أفراد الجمهور العام الكويتي من مستخدمي وسائل الإعلام الكويتية عينة الدراسة فيمحافظات الكويت الست. وتوصلت الدارسة إلى أن التغطية الإخبارية للعلاقات الفطرية الخليجية في القنوات التلفزيونية والمواقع الإلكترونية الكويتية اتسمت بالعديد من الخصائص التي جعلتها تقف على الحياد في هذه الأزمة، واستطاعت أن تحافظ على استقلاليتها، الأمر الذي يتماشى مع السياسة الكويتية الرسميةالتي سعت إلى رأب الصدع بين أطراف الأزمة. وكشفت النتائج أيضا عن معنوية العلاقة بين معدل تعرض الجمهور للقنوات الفضائية الكويتيةومواقع الصحف الالكترونية الكويتية – محل الدارسة–والإتجاه نحو العلاقات الفطرية - الخليجيةوكذلك معنوية الفروق بين المبحوثين عينة الدارسة في اتجاهاتهم نحو العلاقات القطرية الخليجيةوفق المتغيرات الديموغرافية.

This study sought to understand the nature of news coverage of the Gulf crisis between Qatar and the group of other Arab countries, as well as the Kuwaiti satellite channels and the websites under study, and what role the news and programs in the channels and websites under study play in shaping the Kuwaiti public’s attitudes towards the Gulf crisis, as well as Influencing the adoption by members of the Kuwaiti public of the frameworks presented on the crisis and its various repercussions. Through a survey study of the reality of media coverage of this crisis, and its relationship to the formation of public attitudes towards it .
This study is a descriptive research aimed at depicting the characteristics of a particular group, analyzing and evaluating it, and employed the sampling survey method and the comparative method. Kuwaiti media, a sample of the study in the six cities of Kuwait .
The study concluded that the news coverage of Qatari-Gulf relations on Kuwaiti television channels and websites was characterized by many characteristics that made it stand neutral in this crisis, and it was able to maintain its independence and is in line with the official Kuwaiti policy that sought to bridge the rift between the parties to the crisis.
The results also revealed the significant relationship between the public’s exposure to Kuwaiti satellite channels and the websites of Kuwaiti electronic newspapers - the subject of the study -and the trend towards Qatari-Gulf relations. As well as the significance of the differences between the respondents in the study sample in their attitudes towards Qatari-Gulf relations according to demographic variables
