موضوع البحث هو دراسة صورة المجتمع الصيني أثناء الثورة الثقافية في أهم أعمال الكاتب يوخوا, وذلك من خلال دراسة رواية "اليوم السابع", والبحث يقدم حياة الكاتب يوخوا والعوامل الؤثرة فيها ونشأته خلال الثورة الثقافية الصينية التي يعدها مؤرخو الأدب الصيني فترة ذات خصوصية شديدة في تاريخ الأدب الصيني المعاصر وفترة مظلمة في تاريخ الصين ثم التطرق إلى كيفية تأثر الأدب بنفسية الكاتب وخبراته الشخصية ثم توضيح تأثر الكاتب يوخوا بفترة الثورة الثقافية وكيف ظهر هذا في الرواية من خلال تحليلها تحلياً دقيقاً.
Yu Hua is a Chinese writer, born in 1960 in Hangzhou Province, Zhejiang Region. He worked as a dentist, then joined Faculty of Arts at Beijing University and began his literary journey. He wrote many novels, most important are “To Live”, “Chronicle of a Blood Merchant”, “Brothers”, “Cries in the drizzle” and “The Seventh Day”
His novels have been translated into more than twenty foreign languages, published in more than thirty countries, he has won many awards such as the Italian “Green Zana Cavour” Award (1998), the French Knight Award (2004) and the China Books Award for Special Contribution (2005), and the French Prize for Foreign Fiction (2008).
The subject of the research is the image of Chinese society during the Cultural Revolution in the most important novel of Yu Hua, “The Seventh Day” novel, the research presents the life of the writer, the factors influencing it, and his upbringing during the Chinese Cultural Revolution, which historians of Chinese literature consider a very special period in the history of China, then addressing how literature was influenced by the writer’s personal experiences, then clarifying the influence of the writer Yu Hua on the period of the Cultural Revolution and how this appeared in the novel “The Seventh Day” through a careful analysis of it.
Yu Hua portrayed the life of Chinese society by displaying the miserable life events of the novel's hero, Yang Fei, who tells everything he saw and heard in the seven days after his death. Concern for human life represents the core of Yu Hua's writings and his belief in the value and importance of human existence. Therefore, his novels occupy a special place in Chinese and international literature. Yu Hua's works reflect his life and personal experiences, as the writer grew up during the Cultural Revolution in China. Rather, his writing describes this period with all its features of sorrow and sadness, especially the novel "The Seventh Day", which He said that it was the closest novel to reality.
