تناولت الدراسة الميدانية الحالية تأثير ثقافة الجندر (النوع الإجتماعى) على المشاركة السياسية للمرأة فى مالى، تعتبر ثقافة الجندر عن ثقافة التمييز بين الجنسين فى اطار تقاليد عادات ورؤية المجتمع، وتشير الى الأنماط السلوكية والسمات والقيم والمواقف والأفكار المرتبطة بمفهوم الذكورة والأنوثة فى المجتمع، والتى تحدد الأدوار الإجتماعية المتوقعة والمسموح بها للرجال والنساء. الهدف من الدراسة هو تحديد طبيعة العلاقات الإجتماعية بين الرجل والمرأة فى مجتمع مالى وكذلك التعرف على الأدوار الجندرية فيه،وتسليط الدور على مكانة المرأة الإجتماعية والإقتصادية والسياسية، وتأثير ثقافة التمييز بين الجنسين على هذه المكانة، وذلك من خلال مراقبة ممارسات وتقاليد المجتمع التى تؤثر على الوضع الإجتماعى للمرأة. كما هدفت الدراسة الى تسليط الضوء على العمل النسوى والكيانات النسوية المعنية بقضايا الجندر والمساواة والتمييز بين الجنسين ودورها فى النهوض بالمرأة فى مالى لتمكينها سياسا، وكذلك التعرف على تصرفات النساء عن أنفسهن وقدراتهن على المشاركة السياسية وتصورات المجتمع لدور المرأة السياسى، وقد ركزت الدراسة على العاصمة باماكو حيث تتركز بيها مؤسسات المجتمع وكياناته السياسية والنسوية والإجتماعية

The current field study focused on the impact of Culture of Gender on
women’s political participation in Mali ,expresses behavioral patterns ,traits ,
values ,attitudes ,and ideas associated with the concept of masculinity and
femininity in society ,and determines the expected and permissible social
roles for women and men in the Republic of Mali.
The study’s goal is to determine the nature of the current social
connections between men and women ,as well as their roles in Mali society ,
by observing the practices and traditions of a community that influence
women’s social position .The study also aimed to shed light on the feminist
trend and women’s entities by tracking women’s initiatives and their role in
the advancement of women in Mali ,as well as to identify women’s
perceptions of themselves and their political abilities ,along with society’s
perceptions of women’s political roles.
The study was based on four approaches :the field anthropological
approach ,which relied on understanding the situation of women and their
roles in society ,the ethnographic approach to describing and analyzing the
causes of women’s low social status and the obstacles that stand in the way
of their political participation the historical approach to identify the history
of the feminist movement concerned with gender issues in Mali society , and
Case study approach on the feminist organization (CAFO)
The research reveals that Malian society is a conservative society in
which gender discrimination prevails ,leading to women’s low socio -
economic status ,which has impacted women’s political involvement.
The study also discovered the feminist movements that aim to
eliminate gender discrimination through many women’s associations that
operate at all social ,economic ,and political levels to support women’s
rights in order to empower them politically.
