تهدف الدراسة إلى رصد منصات العمل الحر العربية والأجنبية التي تضم اختصاصي المكتبات والمعلومات منذ عام 1998, ودورها في إيجاد فرص عمل لهم, وحصر معايير تقييمها, واقتراح خطة قابلة للتطبيق لتصميم منصة عمل حر عربية خاصة بمجال المكتبات والمعلومات؛ لجذب خريجي أقسام المكتبات والمعلومات نحو التوجه إلى منصات العمل الحر, واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي بأسلوبه المسحي وأسلوبه التقييمي, كما اعتمدت الدراسة على قائمة المراجعة, وجلسات الاتصال المباشر بشبكة الإنترنت كأدوات لجمع البيانات. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: وجود 7 منصات عمل حر تضم اختصاصي المكتبات والمعلومات المستقل وتتمثل تلك المنصات في (Upwork-Freelancer-Guru- PeoplePerHour - Fiverr - مستقل- خمسات), وأن البرامج الأكاديمية في تخصص المكتبات والمعلومات لها دور في نشر الوعي نحو العمل من خلال منصات العمل الحر, وأن هناك معايير ينبغي الاعتماد عليها عند تصميم منصات العمل الحر في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات, وأوصت الدراسة إلى ضرورة نشر الوعي بأهمية منصات العمل الحر كحل محتمل للقضاء على البطالة, واستخدام منصة العمل الحر المقترحة, ودعمها من قبل الجمعيات والمؤسسات المهنية في المجال

This Study aims to Monitor Arab and Foreign Freelance Platforms that include Librarians and Information Specialists since 1998, and their Role in finding job Opportunities for them, inventorying their Evaluation Criteria, and Proposing a viable Plan to Design an Arab Freelance Platform in the field of Libraries and Information, In order to attract Graduates of the Libraries and Information Departments towards Freelance Platforms. The Study based on the Descriptive approach in its survey and evaluative style, and the Study also used Checklist and Sessions Direct Connection to the Internet As Tools for Data Collection . the Study reached a set of results, the Most Important of which are: the Existence of 7 Freelance Platforms that include Freelance Librarian, and these Platforms are (Upwork-Freelancer-Guru- PeoplePerHour - Fiverr- Mostaql - Khamsat), and that Academic Programs in the field of Library and Information have a role in spreading Awareness towards working through Freelance Platforms, and there are Standards that should be relied upon when Designing Freelance Platforms in the field of Libraries and Information. The Study recommended the need to spread Awareness of the Importance of Freelance Platforms As a possible Solution to Eliminate Unemployment and the Use of the Proposed Freelance Platform and its support by Professional Associations and Institutions in the field.
