Celecoxib is a weakly acidic drug with a pka of 11.1. It is defined as "practically insoluble" in water. Its aqueous solubility was 3-7 æg/ml. Celecoxib is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and for management of the pain of these condition
