Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Pharmacy - Department of Analytical Chemistry Summary: This thesis is concerned with the analysis of some drugs containing carbonyl group. It comprises three parts, part I is about thestability indicating methods for determination of Ivabradine hydrochloride. Part II is about the simultaneous determination of Alogliptin Benzoate and Pioglitazone Hydrochloride in their binary mixture. Part III is about the simultaneous determination of Perindopril Arginine and Indapamide in their binary mixture. The applied techniques include spectrophotometry, chemometry, thin layer chromatography (TLC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ion selective electrodes. The proposed methods were simple, accurate, and reproducible, which would be feasible and sensitive for the determination of the studied drugs. The proposed methods were validated according to ICH guidelines
