The Egyptian Nile Delta is one of the classical Deltas in the world with a great history created by the different civilization that have grown around it through the human history . Beside its great history it is famous by its classical geomorphologic features that made Herodotus use the name "Delta" after its shape . The present study discusses the geological and petrophysical characterization of an oil and gas- producing field in the onshore Nile Delta region which is West Dikirnis field
