Purpose: To compare between the efficacy of resistive exercise versus acupressure on blood glucose level in type2 diabetes . Methods: sixty patients of both sexes (34men and 26women) their age ranged from 40 to 60 years old were selected from outpatient clinic of luxor general hospital . The sixty patients were divided into two groups equal in numbers; each group consisted of thirty patients. Group (A) receive acupressure therapy 3/times/week. Group (B) performed a program of resistive exercise 3times/week . HbA1c, fasting blood glucose level, 2hour post prandial glucose level, insulin level and randomized blood glucose level was assessed at the beginning of the study and after 12 week of treatment. Results: Showed that, there is significant differences between groups where p=0,001 with increasing serum insulinand decrease fasting blood glucose and randomized blood glucose level in group A than group B with no significant difference between groups in HbA1c and 2 hour post prandial glucose level . Conclusion: From the obtained results of this study it could be concluded that acupressure can be helpful complementary method in reducing fasting blood glucose and increasing insulin levels in type2 diabetes
