Phytoplasma causing phyllody, virescence and withesbroom symptoms on sesame were isolated from naturally infected plants. The detected phytoplasmas were transmitted by grafting and dodder into healthy sesame plants. Phytoplasma were detected in naturaly infected sesame plants through examination phloem tissues using light microscope and staind with dienes stain.Using light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy of ultrathin section exhibited phytoplasma units in phloem tissues of infected sesame plants,
