Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - National Cancer Institute - Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Relief Summary: This study demonstrated the safety,efficacy and usefulness of TTS-fentany 1 treatment for chronic cancer pain in children.Our results indicate that this approach affords an easy, safe, well tolerated alternative to oral opioid treatment and effective pain relief, with adverse effects playing a minor role and being controlled using adjuvant medication and less than morphine MST especially nausea, vomiting and constipation
