According to the Egyptian Environmental legal requirements, drinking water must contain no more than 10 mg/1 of nitrate as N. The aim of this thesis is to study the removal of nitrate from synthetic solutions through the use of a selective ion exchange resin, IMAC HP-555, in both batch and fixed bed systems
