Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mechanical Power Engineering Summary: The present work including thermo economic study for chiller and evaporative inlet air cooling system for a gas turbine plants to boost the lost power due to ambient air temperature increasing. The results indicate that, by using inlet cooling for a 264 MW gas turbine plant, the electric energy output is increased by 92167 MWh for one year, and thermal efficiency reaches to 36.89 %, and the net cash flow is 2.9 million dollar. While by using evaporative inlet cooling, the energy output is increased by 83950 MWh for one year, the thermal efficiency reaches to 37.19%, and the net cash flow is 5.04 million dollar
