Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.)-Cairo University, 2024. Summary: This randomized control trial was based on a pilot study of ten children, we founded that we needed a sample size of sixty pediatric cases suffering from cerebral palsy with spastic diplegia aged 3–10 years old who took part in this research. Subjects were split up into two pairs, with thirty in each group. The study group received TENS, and the control group was given a sham current. Range of motion and muscle tone were measured before and after application of high TENS using a goniometer, electromyography, and a modified Ashworth scale. We concluded that there is an effect on the range of TENS on motion and muscle tone after applying high TENS, with promising results for a cheap, non-invasive, and easily applied tool. We have to stand on the long-term effect and dose to be compared with other spasticity management approaches.Summary: شاركت ستين حالة من الأطفال الذين يعانون من الشلل الدماغي مع شلل مزدوج تشنجي تتراوح أعمارهم بين ثلاث الي عشر سنوات والذين شاركوا في هذا البحث. تم تقسيم المواضيع إلى زوجين، مع ثلاثين في كل مجموعة. تلقت مجموعة الدراسة ، وأعطيت المجموعة الضابطة تيارا زائفا. تم قياس نطاق الحركة ونغمة العضلات قبل وبعد تطبيق العالي باستخدام مقياس الزوايا، وتخطيط كهربية العضل، ومقياس أشوورث المعدل. توصلنا إلى أن هناك تأثير على نطاق الحركة وقوة العضلات بعد تطبيق TENS العالي، مع نتائج واعدة لأداة رخيصة وغير جراحية وسهلة التطبيق. علينا أن نقف على التأثير والجرعة على المدى الطويل لمقارنتها مع أساليب إدارة التشنج الأخرى.
